Forum Guidelines

billionphotos-shout outWhen attending a forum meeting everyone is expected to follow the guidelines below.  Some of the issues are controversial and different people have different opinions.  The forum has to consider all and decisions are made by a majority vote.

  • Circulate any agenda items to the Chair
  • Send apologies if unable to attend meetings
  • Arrive on time
  • Bring any relevant paperwork with you (Minutes and agenda when circulated)
  • One speaker and one conversation at a time
  • Don’t interrupt when someone else is speaking
  • Go through the chair
  • Keep on task (limit talk about non-related issues)
  • Everyone’s opinion counts
